I hope the Product Catalog helps you to find the products you need in order to protect yourself from fragrances, while still being able to live a normal life.
Why I Live Fragrance-Free
Unfortuanatley, I was diagnosed with Multiple Chemical Sensitivity (MCS) over 10 years ago. I was forced to change my lifestyle over night. I literally threw out all my products – makeup, cleaning products, hair products – you name it – it went in the trash. I started over from scratch. I learned a lot along the way and want to be a resource for others needing, or wanting to make the switch.
Finding new products was overwhelming to say the least. I know a lot of people these days have been diagnosed with MCS, and a lot more react to fragrances and chemicals and just don’t know there’s a diagnosis for it. I also know there are people who prefer to live fragrance free just because they take their health seriously and they don’t want a chemical exposure. This website is for you! All of you! All are welcome to learn, shop, and find support along the way.
A Few Things to Note About Fragrance
Fragrance-free does not equal toxin free. Along my journey I have learned that just because there isn’t the word “fragrance” or “parfum” on the ingredient list, doesn’t mean it’s completely safe.
However, I recognize that not everyone cares, and not everyone needs to live with strict avoidance of all chemicals. Because of this, I have chosen to list products in the Fragrance Free Product Catalog that are soley free of fragrance. I am not claiming they will align with everyones values on what health should be, or with your personal health goals. That is up for you to decide.
I would also like to point out that products that are free from fragrance, can still have a smell. Some people are okay with this, while others are not. The smell would be coming from the raw ingredients used in the product. Please be aware of this when ordering.
Finally, I wanted to let you know that for each product listed, I will give the LFF stamp of approval for anything that is completely toxin free. This includes all chemicals known to harm or hurt human health – not just fragrance. So if you’re looking to live more toxin free, look for that seal of approval!
